Can't I just use a store-bought drain cleaner?
Store bought drain cleaners can work up to a point, as they are able to dissolve some material, but they rarely clear a blockage fully or reach deep enough into the drain. Not only that, but if your pipes are older, it is possible that they can be damaged from store bought cleaners.

We do recommend annual drain cleaning for commercial kitchens and multi-unit buildings due to heavier drain use.
