In Arlington Heights, the village will actually provide a 75% rebate up to $11,250 to replace your current sewer system with an overhead sewer system. Here’s what’s required to get the rebate:
- Three contractor estimates to replace the system
- A camera inspection of your current sewer line submitted to the village
- A permit pulled by a licensed contractor

Lead Service Line Replacement
For a lead service line replacement, the village of Arlington Heights will reimburse 50%, or up to $2,500, for us to completely replace your service line. For some homeowners, Arlington Heights will be replacing lead lines through its own contractor program, though that work is scheduled for certain streets over the next several years. If you’re not a part of the program, or if you don’t want to wait to have your line replaced, we can replace the line for you and help with the village rebate. H2O Plumbing replaced a broken main sewer pipe outside the house. Pricing was very competitive. Took care to protect my property, and professional clean-up of the work-site after the work was done - scrubbed the basement floor with cleaner and even scrubbed the driveway with a broom to wash off the dirt from excavation. While they were here, also fixed 3 leaky/stuck faucets without charging me extra.
